April is a Sanford-born artist who has been painting her entire life, beginning with her first “sales” in elementary school—gold-painted rocks.
Inspired by traditional tattoo art and the energy of New Orleans, where she lived and sold art in Jackson Square in the 1990s, she continues to draw creative influence from the city today.
She paints daily and lives fully through her art, with each piece reflecting a part of her story and finding a home in the lives of others.
