I have lived and created art in the Central Florida area for over 45 years. I enjoy working out of my studio alongside other artists at Gallery On First, in Sanford, Florida. In my studio I’m able to paint in front of the public where people come in and ask questions about my process. I have had the privilege of participating in many art festivals and plein air events throughout Central Florida. While I continue to paint primarily in watercolor, I also enjoy painting with oil and acrylics.

I take pleasure in traveling to new areas where I discover more of the natural beauty which I desire to capture within my painting. I hold a degree in art from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While attending college I took extra classes in oil and acrylic painting. After graduating, I began experimenting more in oil painting, but then decided to explore other types of art mediums. That is when I discovered my true passion for watercolors. I have created over 3,000 original paintings in watercolor. 

My works are currently displayed in the homes of many residences throughout the United States, as well as other countries. I have had my art used in advertisements for The Kroger Company, Opryland, The City of Orlando and the Orlando Museum of Art. I continue to stay active in the Central Florida Watercolor Society, where I previously served as the President for four years.
