Tinna Patriksdóttir Winkler is an Icelandic multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in an instinctive drive to create. Drawing deeply from both her surroundings and imagination, her practice ranges from intimate portraiture and animal studies to expansive science-fiction imagery and conceptual worlds.

Primarily self-taught from an early age, she briefly pursued formal art studies in Iceland before stepping away from academia in search of a more independent creative path. Rejecting traditional artistic gatekeeping became central to the development of her voice and philosophy.

Her work also reflects a strong belief in art as a meaningful tool for mental well-being and emotional expression. Through vivid painting and cross-disciplinary experimentation, she aims to make creativity feel accessible rather than intimidating, encouraging others to embrace painting as a source of joy, healing, and personal freedom.
