Nicole Wittstock is an experimental fine artist, creative entrepreneur, wife, mother and advocate for emotional wellbeing through art. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, her work is deeply influenced by the vibrant color, cultural richness, and contrasts of her upbringing, as well as the Italian flair from her mother’s side of the family and her upstanding Afrikaans morals from her father’s heritage.
Working across mixed mediums, Nicole often combines fabric and textured elements with more traditional paint, pencil, charcoal and pastel to create immersive statement pieces filled with movement and depth. Inspired by global cities, architecture, traditions, and culture, she creates art as a way to mentally travel to places she has visited or still longs to experience and to share those worlds with others who may never have the opportunity to visit them.
Her work is designed to spark emotion, curiosity, and conversation — inviting viewers to connect not just with a place, but with a feeling.
Now based in Florida, USA Nicole’s art continues to evolve through storytelling, culture, and contrast.
